About
As a daughter of the number one recording artist and award winning Australian entertainer Jimmy Hannan, I have always been involved in the arts, media and entertainment world.
In my teens I modelled in Australia, Japan and all over Europe. In 1981 I became Miss Australia in the Miss World competition and was also awarded the titles of Miss Photogenic and Queen of Oceania.
Subsequently I was a hostess on a variety of primetime Australian TV shows including Barry Crocker’s ‘It Could Be You’ and Daryl Somers ‘Hey Hey It’s Saturday’.
Over the years I appeared in several successful commercial campaigns including Hyundai, Colgate and Oil of Olay.
In the mid-nineties I wrote the music for and sang in a band called E.I.M. – who were the support act for Jose Feliciano on his tour in Sydney and Melbourne. Festival Records published my song, ‘Behind These Walls’.
More recently I have been concentrated on writing children’s stories and now I am re-entering the world of modelling.
